Rebecca (Becca) Finley and her husband, Chad, have been married for 17 years. They have four boys; one at WCJH (8th) and three at Bryant (5th, 3rd and Kinder). This will be Becca’s third year to serve on the Bryant PTA Executive Board, two as Treasurer and now as President. She also served two years on Rhoads PTA Executive Board prior to being at Bryant. She has volunteered as room parent, taught junior achievement and helped with many PTA events. Becca graduated from University of Houston Bauer College of Business with a degree in Management. She has worked in Accounting and Human Resources for the last thirteen years. Becca and her husband enjoy being involved in their boys’ school, sports and scouting activities. In her free time, she loves to watch movies with her family, take vacations to the beach, and read books. Becca joined the Bryant PTA in order to get more involved in the school community.

VP of Fundraising -Rebekah Smith - bryantptafundraising@gmail.com
Rebekah Smith is new to the PTA board; however, she is not new to the PTA! Rebekah has been the chair of our very successful Auction for the last three years. She is not shy about getting out into the community and asking how they can help our PTA. Rebekah has been a dedicated volunteer for many years at Bryant as her oldest was here in the beginning and she will continue to do so as she has a second grader and a kinder Bengal. Outside of school Rebekah enjoys spending time with her friends and family camping, hiking, and traveling. We are very excited for Rebekah to join the board!
VP Volunteers - Meredith Urban - bryantptavolunteers@gmail.com
Meredith Urban is starting her 4th consecutive year serving on the executive board at Bryant Elementary. This will be her second year as VP of Volunteers. Meredith was awarded Volunteer of the year and also Lifetime member of the year for the 2021-2022 school year. She is married to her husband Cutter for 12 years and has three children. They will all attend Bryant together for the last time and are in 5th, 3rd and 2nd grade! Meredith went to Texas Tech and then Le Cordon Bleu in Austin Texas where she got her culinary degree. She runs her own cookie and cake business from home. When not up at the school or baking, Meredith enjoys watching her kids be involved in all the sports, college football, playing with their new family dog and spending time at her family’s ranch. She is excited about this new school year and looking forward to volunteering and meeting new people.
VP Family Engagement - Kari Bearb - bryantptaengagement@gmail.com
Kari Bearb is new to the PTA board. While this is her first year on the board she is no stranger to volunteering. She has been a Bengal parent for 4 years volunteering as room mom, helping out at PTA events, and most recently the yearbook chair. She volunteered for VP of family engagement because she believes that the greatest legacy you can leave your loved ones is with happy memories. She is excited to help bring families closer together at Bryant! Kari joined the PTA to be more involved in the school community as she’s an avid volunteer and loves being around kids. Volunteering at Bryant has reignited her passion for teaching and is currently attending the University of Houston to get her teaching degree. Kari is married and has three children; two at Bryant (4th & 2nd) and a four year old future Bengal. In her free time she works on her travel business and enjoys time with her family. Kari is blessed to have this opportunity and looks forward to an amazing school year and seeing all those Bengals smiles!

Lauren Wosel is married to her husband, Jerron, and they have 1 child, Jaxson, who is a 2nd grader here at Bryant! This is her 2nd year that she gets the privilege of serving on the executive board. Lauren is a proud Lumberjack, as she graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and now spends her days working from home for an insurance company, volunteering with the PTA, and hanging out with her family and friends. She is also a huge animal lover, so you may catch her hanging out with some of our furry friends in the neighborhood. Last year while on the board, she got the chance to meet so many Bengal families as VP of Family Engagement during all of our fun family events. She also manages the PTA social media sites and makes sure our Bryant families are aware of everything PTA related!

Kristin Edwards is new to the board and is looking forward to serving as the Secretary. She is married to her husband of almost 10 years, Ben, and has 3 children. Her 2 oldest will be attending Bryant; her son, Clayton will be in 2nd grade and daughter, Hudson will be in Kindergarten. She also has a 2 year old daughter at home named Stevie. She is an Aggie and loves spending time with her family, watching college football and cheering on her kids in various sports. She is incredibly excited to be involved at Bryant and in the community. She is looking forward to all the fun things happening in the 2022-2023 school year!
Parliamentarian - Jocelin Harvey - bryantptaparliamentarian@gmail.com
Jocelin and her husband Jason have been married 12 years. They have two boys who both attend Bryant (5th & 1st). She has volunteered since her oldest started kindergarten as a Room Parent and helped in the workroom. This will be her first year on the board as Parliamentarian.
Jocelin and her family moved here from Nebraska 7 years ago (Go Big Red). She works as a trainer at 9Round. When she’s not volunteering at the school; she’s volunteering at her church in the children's ministry, or you can find her reading a good book. She’s excited for the new school year and meeting new families!
