Rebekah is honored to serve our wonderful community of students, parents, and educators at Bryant Elementary as PTA President for the 2024-2025 school year. With several years of involvement in the PTA both as a chair and executive board member, she is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment that fosters educational excellence and strengthens the partnership between families and the school. She is driven by a passion for advocating for our children's needs and ensuring that every student has access to the resources and opportunities they deserve. She believes that open communication and collaboration between parents and teachers are vital for our children's success. Her goal is to work together to enhance the educational experience, cultivate a welcoming atmosphere for all families in our community and make a lasting impact on our staff and students' lives. Rebekah and her husband of 20 years have three sons, a Sophomore at KHS, and two at Bryant, a 4th grader and a 2nd grader. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, camping, hiking, and traveling. Rebekah invites all parents and guardians to get involved, share your ideas, and contribute to our mission. She is excited for what the next year will bring and for the opportunity to meet other parents and bring them together to help make the 2024-2025 school year the BESt year yet!

Meredith Urban is starting her 6th consecutive year serving on the executive board at Bryant Elementary. This will be her second year as VP of Membership. Meredith was awarded Volunteer of the year and also Lifetime member of the year for the 2021-2022 school year. She is married to her husband Cutter for 14 years and has three children. Her oldest will be entering 7th grade in Jr high while the younger two will still be at Bryant in 5th and 4th grade! She is ready to help out at both campuses this year. Meredith went to Texas Tech University and then Le Cordon Bleu in Austin Texas where she got her culinary degree. She runs her own cookie business from home, but has slowed down on taking orders to be able to be involved at her kids school and sporting events. When not up at the school or baking, Meredith enjoys watching her kids participate in all the sports, college football, going on vacations and spending time at her family’s ranch. Meredith loves being at the school and helping the teachers as well as being involved with all the student activities. She is excited about this new school year and looking forward to volunteering and meeting new people

Gabriella Word is joining the Executive Board this year as our new VP of Fundraising. Gabriella has been actively involved with the PTA since 2018, including serving as the Yearbook Chair last year.
A Katy native through and through, Gabriella and her husband Travis have been married for 14 years this November and both are proud graduates of Katy High School, class of 2004. They have two wonderful sons: Jacob, a 6th grader at Woodcreek, and Noah, a 3rd grader at Bryant.
Gabriella graduated from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University and currently works as the Senior Director of Global Organization and Talent Development at Igloo Products Corp., conveniently located near Bryant. Gabriella is excited to contribute to our school community in her new role and looks forward to a fantastic year ahead!

Amy Pearson is a mother of two children (2nd and 5th grade) and has been married to her husband, Matt, for 13 years. This is her second year on the Bryant PTA Executive board. Previously, Amy was a part of the Wolman Elementary PTA as a Homeroom Chair/Party Planner. She enjoys getting involved in the community and lending a hand where she can. Amy has a degree is Marketing, Communications, and Philosophy and an MBA in Organizational Development. She played Division 1 softball and is also on the Katy Girls Softball Association (KGSA) board as a Commissioner and VP of the League. Amy is excited and energized to get volunteers involved in activities and events around Bryant. With open communication and a drive to make everyone feel welcome, she aspires to connect volunteers with meaningful opportunities and drive participation higher than ever.

This will be Kristin Edwards 3rd year on the Executive Board and she is looking forward to serving as VP of Family Engagement. She has been married to her husband, Ben, for 11 years and they have 3 children. Her 2 oldest will be attending Bryant; her son, Clayton is in 4th grade and daughter, Hudson is in 2nd. She also has a 4 year old daughter at home named Stevie. She is an Aggie and loves spending time with her family, watching college football and cheering on her kids in various sports. She is incredibly excited for this year and for all the fun events the PTA has planned for our students. She can’t wait to make the 2024-2025 school year an amazing one!

This will be Patty Piassoli's second year on the Executive Board as Treasurer. She has been volunteering at Bryant in different capacities since 2018. During the 2022-2023 school year she had the privilege of serving as Hospitality Chair and found it very rewarding. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Keith, for 14 years. They have two children, Claire (6th grade) and Emma (3rd grade). Claire is at Woodcreek Junior High this year, and Emma attends Bryant. Patty graduated from Mays Business School at Texas A&M with a degree in Marketing. She has worked in accounting and sales, but her most rewarding job title is mom! Outside of school, Patty enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and Golden Retriever, Maggie. She is looking forward to all the wonderful things the PTA has planned for this new school year!

Lauren is married to her husband, Jerron, and they have 1 child, Jaxson, who is a 4th grader and in the house Reveur! This will be her 4th year of serving on the Executive Board. In previous years, she has been VP of Family Engagement, Treasurer, and VP of Communications. She is a proud Lumberjack, as she graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and now spends her days working from home for an insurance company, volunteering with the PTA, and hanging out with her family, friends, and their pups, Cash and Duke. Lauren began volunteering with the PTA to be more involved in her child’s school and as she works from home it allows her to get out of the house and meet new friends. Volunteering and helping where she can is something she truly enjoys doing, so being involved with the PTA is a great match! Lauren is very excited to see what new opportunities this year will bring with Bengal families new and old and looks forward to all that the PTA has planned for our school.

Kari Bearb is in her 3rd consecutive year with the PTA Executive Board. Kari won Volunteer of the Year and Lifetime Membership award in 2022-2023 due to her time and commitment at Bryant. Kari is excited to continue working on the board along side our volunteers this year. Along with being on the board, she has been a Bengal parent for 6 years volunteering as room mom, helping out at PTA events, and being Yearbook chair. Kari joined the PTA to be more involved in the school community as she’s an avid volunteer and loves being around kids. Volunteering at Bryant has reignited her passion for teaching and is currently attending the University of Houston to get her teaching degree and currently works as Para at Bryant. Kari is married and has three children; (6th, 4th, and 1st). In her free time she works on her travel business and enjoys time with her family. Kari is blessed to have this opportunity and looks forward to an amazing school year and seeing all those Bengals smiles!

Mandy Laroux is the parliamentarian for a Bryant PTA, this is her 2nd year on the job. She has a 2nd grader and a Kindergartner at Bryant and one future Bengal, a 3 year old boy who cannot wait to join his Big Brothers at Big School. Together with her husband of 11 years, she moved to Texas in 2022 from Pennsylvania. Mandy volunteered in 22-23 school year and was happy to take on a more established role within the board for 23-24 and will continue to help where and when she can. A born and raised Californian, Mandy worked in HR & accounting before becoming a stay at home mom in 2017. In her off time she is happy to spend time with her boys watching them play club sports, finding time to exercise, walk the dog, and reading when she can find a minute. She can’t wait to see what this year brings and how she can help make this Bryant’s BESt year
