Rebecca (Becca) Finley and her husband, Chad, have been married for 18 years. They have four boys; one at KHS (9th), one at WCJH (6th) and two at Bryant (4th and 1st). This will be Becca’s fourth year to serve on the Bryant PTA Executive Board, two as Treasurer and two as President. She also served two years on Rhoads PTA Executive Board prior to being at Bryant. She has volunteered as room parent, taught Junior Achievement, and helped with many PTA events. Becca graduated from University of Houston Bauer College of Business with a degree in Management. She has worked in Accounting and Human Resources for the last fourteen years. Becca and her husband enjoy being involved in their boys’ school, sports and scouting activities. In her free time, she loves to watch movies with her family, take vacations to the beach, and read books. Becca joined the Bryant PTA in order to get more involved in the school community.

Meredith Urban is starting her 5th consecutive year serving on the executive board at Bryant Elementary. This will be her first year as VP of Membership. Meredith was awarded Volunteer of the year and also Lifetime member of the year for the 2021-2022 school year. She is married to her husband Cutter for 13 years and has three children. This will be her first year with a child in Jr high at a new school while the younger two will still be at Bryant in 4th and 3rd grade! She is ready to help out at both campuses this year. Meredith went to Texas Tech University and then Le Cordon Bleu in Austin Texas where she got her culinary degree. She runs her own cookie business from home, but has slowed down on taking orders to be able to be involved at her kids school and sporting events. When not up at the school or baking, Meredith enjoys watching her kids participate in all the sports, college football, playing with their family dog, going on vacations and spending time at her family’s ranch. She is excited about this new school year and looking forward to volunteering and meeting new people.

Rebekah Smith joined the Bryant PTA to be actively involved with her children’s school and education as well as to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the students, teachers, and staff. She is excited to be starting her 2nd year on the PTA executive board as VP of Fundraising after serving as Online Auction Chair for three years. Her goal is to provide support for all; now and in the future, through various campus wide fundraising events. She is not shy about getting out into the community and asking local businesses to partner with our Bengal PTA to raise funds for the future. Rebekah and her husband of 19 years have three sons, a freshman at KHS, and two at Bryant, a 3rd grader and a 1st grader. Outside of school Rebekah enjoys spending time with her friends and family, camping, hiking, and traveling. Rebekah is excited for what the next year will bring and for the opportunity to meet other parents and bring them together to help make the 2023-2024 school year the BESt year yet!

Amy Pearson is a mother of two children (1st and 4th grade) and has been married to her husband, Matt, for 12 years. As new residents of Willow Creek Farms and Bryant Elementary, this is her first year on the Bryant PTA Executive board. Previously, Amy was a part of the Wolman Elementary PTA as a Homeroom Chair/Party Planner. She enjoys getting involved in the community and lending a hand where she can. Amy has a degree is Marketing, Communications, and Philosophy and an MBA in Organizational Development. She played Division 1 softball and is also on the Katy Girls Softball Association (KGSA) board as a Commissioner and Assistant VP of the League. Amy is excited and energized to get volunteers involved in activities and events around Bryant. With open communication and a drive to make everyone feel welcome, she aspires to connect volunteers with meaningful opportunities and drive participation higher than ever.

Kari Bearb is in her 2nd year with the PTA Executive Board. Last year Kari won Volunteer of the Year due to her time and commitment to Bryant, as she organized and led many of our fun events throughout the year. Kari is excited to continue working on the board along side our volunteers this year as she is again our VP of Family Engagement. Along with being on the board, she has been a Bengal parent for 5 years volunteering as room mom, helping out at PTA events, and being Yearbook chair. Kari joined the PTA to be more involved in the school community as she’s an avid volunteer and loves being around kids. Volunteering at Bryant has reignited her passion for teaching and is currently attending the University of Houston to get her teaching degree. Kari is married and has three children; all now at Bryant, (5th, 3rd, and Kinder.). In her free time she works on her travel business and enjoys time with her family. Kari is blessed to have this opportunity and looks forward to an amazing school year and seeing all those Bengals smiles!

Patty Piassoli is looking forward to being a part of the Executive Board for the first time this year! She has been volunteering in different capacities since her oldest was in kindergarten. This past year she had the privilege of serving as Hospitality Chair and found it very rewarding. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Keith, for 13 years. They have two children, Claire (5th grade) and Emma (2nd grade), that both attend Bryant. Patty graduated from Mays Business School at Texas A&M with a degree in Marketing. She has worked in accounting and sales, but her most rewarding job title is mom! Outside of school, Patty enjoys spending time with her family and dog Maggie. Patty and Keith stay busy watching their kids play youth soccer and getting together with friends. She is looking forward to all the wonderful things the PTA has planned for this new school year!

This will be Kristin Edwards 2nd year on the Executive Board and she is looking forward to serving as Secretary again. She is married to her husband of 10 years, Ben, and they have 3 children. Her 2 oldest will be attending Bryant; her son, Clayton is in 3rd grade and daughter, Hudson is in 1st. She also has a 3 year old daughter at home named Stevie. She is an Aggie and loves spending time with her family, watching college football and cheering on her kids in various sports. She is incredibly excited for this year and for all the fun events the PTA has planned for our students. She cannot wait to make the 2023-2024 school year the best one yet!

Lauren is married to her husband, Jerron, and they have 1 child, Jaxson, who is a 3rd grader here at Bryant! This is her 3rd year that she gets the privilege of serving on the Executive Board. In previous years, she has been VP of Family Engagement and Treasurer/Communications. She is a proud Lumberjack, as she graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and now spends her days working from home for an insurance company, volunteering with the PTA, and hanging out with her family, friends, and their pup, Cash. This year she gets to manage the PTA social media sites, make sure our Bryant families are aware of everything PTA related through the Bryant Bulletin, and help put together our Yearbook. She looks forward to all the fun this school year will bring and the memories our Bengals will make!

Mandy Laroux is new to the PTA board as Parliamentarian this year. She has a 1st grader at Bryant and two future Bengals, a 4 year old and a 2 year old at home. Together with her husband of 10 years, she moved to Texas in 2022 from Pennsylvania. Mandy volunteered in 22-23 school year and is happy to take on a more established role within the board for 23-24. A born and raised Californian, Mandy worked in HR & accounting before becoming a stay at home mom in 2017. In her off time she is happy to spend time with her boys watching them play club sports, finding time to exercise, walk the dog, and reading when she can find a minute. She can’t wait to see what this year brings and how she can help make this Bryant’s BESt year.
